Ryu can be seen performing all around the Edmonton area. He is a popular attraction at the many Farmer’s Markets throughout the summer. He became co-host with long-time friend and fellow musician Heather Andrews Miller of The Carrot Open Stage event, which was held every Saturday night until Covid restrictions caused it to be suspended. Ryu enjoys playing for house concerts, block parties, private and corporate events, weddings, birthday parties, retirement homes, and community events. He loves to jam with other musicians and can often be found at an open mic event supplying exciting solos and playing crowd favourites from his vast repertoire.
